Listed below are some books that have really helped me over the years. The titles are "links" to sites where you can purchase the book.
The Magic Of Believing: Claude M. Bristol page 39..."Perhaps the most effective method of bringing the subconscious into practical action is through the process of making mental pictures---using the imagination---perfecting an image of the thing or situation as you would have it exist in physical form. This is usually referred to as visualization. However, most of the sustained and continuing manifestations come as a result of belief." *******
A must read for "sensitive" or "empathic" people. A "how-to survival guide" for those gifted with the ability of sensing and reading the thoughts and energy of others or having meaningful personal and professional relationships. It is also a great instruction manual for anyone who wishes to develop their own abilities to sense others. Very practical, this work has the clear message that you change the world around you by making change within yourself. After reading this book there can be no excuses for the blaming of others or of difficult situations that "appear" to be holding you back. You are the key that unlocks every situation and that key is your "home frequency".
Great affirmations and plan of action. I vary the plan a bit but I carry the affirmations and my personal ones with me to restaurants and work and look at them often. Peggy helps you to look at all kinds of wealth not just money. If you are wondering how to get started this book has a lot of ideas.
In order to manifest anything that you desire in life you need to generate the "feelings" of ALREADY having it. HOW you accomplish this is what Peggy McColl explains in "Your Destiny Switch". This is a masterful work on recognizing and managing your emotional state and generating the "feelings" that produce what you want in life. If you have ever wondered, "How do I get "THERE" from "HERE"", this is the book for you! Peggy provides detailed explanations about understanding the "mechanics" of your emotions and then shows you practical steps for "switching" them from negative to positive. Chapter 8: "Using the Illuminators" is worth the entire price of the book, but you get so much more! If you are "stuck", stalled in your progress or just in a "slump", you will find this book helpful and inspiring.
In both of these books, Eckhart teaches you how to "think" and in some cases how to "stop thinking". When you understand that "not thinking" is more important than "thinking" then you will feel much better. This book teaches about "being" and about how to deny the "ego" or "false self" the right to run your life. It has freed many people, maybe it will free you!
The Bible is definitely on my recommended reading list even if you have a different belief system. When you read the bible, don’t read it like a religious book.Read it as the love story of a Father in search of His lost children and His plan to get them back to Him.The supernatural is real.Just because Jesus “died” 2,000+ years ago doesn’t mean that He is “gone”.He is just in a different place!Take the time to travel to that place in your imagination and get to know Him.
